  • Turkeys

Heritage Bronze Turkeys are raised from chicks (knows as poults) right here on the farm in Middleburg. These beautiful birds are raised on pasture from around 3 weeks old, and are fed locally grown, non-gmo feed from Dawsons Gap Naturals. Our birds love to scratch and search for bugs and grubs, eat lots of fresh green grass and the occasional treat in the form of surplus vegetables!

This is NOT your standard grocery store bird. These birds are bred to reach maturity at around 6 months old. The standard butterball will be butchered around just 12-16 weeks old.

So whats the difference? Heritage breed turkeys are slow growing, which allows the muscles to grow with the correct amount of intra-muscular fat.

    Goodbye dry, tasteless turkey breast!

These birds taste so good simply roasted, in fact, we encourage you NOT to brine them! Trust us, they don’t need it! And because of all that delicious marbling, they cook in a fraction of the time that a regular turkey does. Last year, the Jones Family enjoyed a 32lb turkey that cooked in about 4 hours!

  • 100% Grass Fed Lamb

Available May 2024, pay a deposit to reserve your lamb now!

2024 marks a big step forward for ‘Pam’s Lambs’ - these lambs were the first livestock born on the farm. They have spent every single day of their lives on pasture, 100% of the time, and rotationally grazed for most of the year. We move animals on to new grass every 3 days which highly reduces parasite pressure meaning we don’t have to routinely deworm our flock .

This year, we are only offering sales of whole lamb, which will come broken down into retail cuts, vacuum sealed and frozen.

The price is $16.50/lb and we expect lambs to process at between 30-40 lbs of packaged meat. Example:

4lb sausage links, 4lb ground, 1lb neck chop, 4lb loin chop, 2lb sirloin Chop, 4lb rack, 4lb arm roast, 3lb bone out shoulder, 4lb shank, 1lb rib chop, 5lb bone-in leg roast, 4lb bone-out leg roast

A deposit of $200 will secure your lamb. You will then be invoiced for the final amount based on the packaged weight of your animal.
